Iceland Ring Loop
A 12-day self-drive loop around Iceland’s Ring Road, paced slowly enough that you can actually stand in the wind, stare at waterfalls, and not feel like you’re just collecting parking lots.

Heads Up
- 1. Book the Blue Lagoon and Mývatn Nature Baths ahead if traveling in busy season.
- 2. Check road.is daily, especially for east fjord passes, Dettifoss access, and shoulder-season weather.
- 3. Don’t treat fuel casually in the east and north; top up when you have the chance.
- 4. Waterproof shoes and a windproof layer will make this trip much happier than “cute but soaked” clothing.
