Heads Up

Every Italian historic center has a Limited Traffic Zone. Cameras will fine you weeks later. Always park outside the walls and walk in, or have your hotel register your plate.

Uffizi, Colosseum, Duomo cupola, Vatican (if you add it) — all need timed tickets bought online. Don't show up and hope.

This itinerary deliberately keeps it to 2 things per day. Resist adding a third — Italy rewards lingering at the cafe more than ticking another church.
