Seljalandsfoss Waterfall
The famous waterfall you can actually walk behind. It's misty, loud, and totally magical. Bring a raincoat or you'll get soaked!
Skogafoss Waterfall
A massive wall of water. On sunny days, you'll almost always see a double rainbow here. Climb the stairs for a killer view from the top.
Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
World-famous black sand and basalt columns. It looks like another planet, but watch out for the 'sneaker waves'—they're dangerous.
Vik i Myrdal Village
The southernmost village in Iceland. Great spot to stock up on supplies and see the iconic red-roofed church on the hill.
Day 2 · Glaciers & Lagoons
Heading east to the land of ice. Get ready for floating icebergs and massive glaciers.
Skaftafell - Vatnajokull National Park
A hiker's paradise. The trail to Svartifoss (the waterfall with basalt columns) is a must-do here.
Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon
Huge icebergs breaking off the glacier and floating out to sea. It's the most beautiful spot in Iceland, hands down.
Diamond Beach (Breidamerkursandur)
Where the icebergs from the lagoon wash up on the black sand. They look like giant diamonds in the sun.
Hofn Fishing Village
The lobster capital of Iceland. A cozy harbor town with great views of the Vatnajokull glacier.
Day 3 · Eastfjords to Myvatn
A long driving day through winding fjords and lunar landscapes. Pure road trip vibes.
Seydisfjordur Village
The most charming town in the East. Famous for the rainbow-colored path leading to a blue church.
Hverir Geothermal Area
Smells like rotten eggs, looks like Mars. Bubbling mud pots and steaming vents everywhere.
Myvatn Nature Baths
The 'Blue Lagoon of the North'. Less crowded and cheaper than the original, with stunning views.
Lake Myvatn Area
A volcanic lake area with crazy rock formations and pseudo-craters.
Day 4 · Waterfalls & Akureyri
Visiting the 'Waterfall of the Gods' before hitting Iceland's second-largest city.
Godafoss Waterfall
A massive horseshoe-shaped waterfall where Iceland officially converted to Christianity in 1000 AD.
Akureyri City Center
The Capital of the North. Check out the botanical gardens and the heart-shaped traffic lights.
Glaumbaer Turf Houses
Beautifully preserved turf houses that show how Icelanders lived for centuries. Super photogenic.
Blonduos Village
A quiet town on the river Blanda, perfect for a peaceful night before the final push.
Day 5 · West to Reykjavik
The final stretch back to the capital. Time for some hot springs and city vibes.
Deildartunguhver Hot Spring
Europe's most powerful hot spring. The water is literally boiling—don't touch!
Hraunfossar Waterfalls
A series of waterfalls trickling out of a lava field into a bright blue river. Unique and stunning.
Hallgrimskirkja Church
The iconic landmark of Reykjavik. Take the elevator to the top for the best view of the colorful houses.
Laugavegur Street
The main shopping and dining street. Perfect for last-minute souvenirs and a celebratory dinner.
