Heads Up
- 1. Book ahead: Moraine Lake shuttle, Spirit Island boat, and all Jasper lodging — these sell out weeks in advance June-September.
- 2. Wildlife: Elk, bighorn sheep, black bears all common roadside. Keep 30m distance, 100m for bears. Don't be the person blocking traffic for a selfie.
- 3. Best season: Mid-June to late September. Shoulder season (May, October) has fewer crowds but some trails/shuttles close.
- 4. Day 4: 46h 22m driving — plan rest stops
- 5. Day 4: 12h driving — plan rest stops
