     Stop for a 2-hour soak to wash off travel fatigue. Book your slot 1-2 months in advance, and don't forget to bring a waterproof phone case for photos.

   • Seljalandsfoss

     Walk the trail that goes *behind* this 60m-tall waterfall — wear a waterproof jacket, you will get misted. 45min here is perfect.

   • Skógafoss

     Hike the short uphill trail to the top of the falls for panoramic views of the south coast, keep an eye out for rainbows on sunny days. Spend 1 hour here.

   • Vík í Mýrdal

     Settle in for the night in this cozy small south coast town, grab a bowl of lamb soup at the local café for dinner.
