      Home of the famous Round-Up. Walk the historic downtown before dinner.

  2. Day 2 · High Desert Run

    Cruising through the Blue Mountains into the Boise valley.

      Grab a coffee and hit I-84 East. The climb into the mountains is scenic.

    • Baker City

      Cool historic stop. The Geiser Grand Hotel is a beautiful time capsule.

    • Boise River Greenbelt

      Stretch your legs on this 25-mile path along the river. Super relaxing.

  3. Day 3 · The Salt Flats

    Transitioning from the Snake River Plain to the Great Salt Lake.

      A cool mountain town with a historic steam train and great food.

  6. Day 6 · The High Road

    Art, history, and the best green chile you'll ever eat.

      Heading south into the Land of Enchantment.

      Mind-bending immersive art. It's hard to explain, just go.

    • Santa Fe Plaza

      The heart of the city. Shop for turquoise and enjoy the architecture.

  7. Day 7 · Underground Worlds

    Going deep into the most impressive caves in the US.

      Long drive south through the desert plains.

      Take the elevator down or hike the Natural Entrance. It's massive.

  8. Day 8 · Deep in the Heart

    Welcome to Texas. It's big, it's flat, and it's beautiful.

      See the highest peak in Texas from the road. Stunning desert peaks.
