Nolan'S Odyssey: 7 Days Through Homeric Greece

A week chasing the ghosts Nolan's cameras are hunting — from the Acropolis to Odysseus's mythical Ithaca. A note on the ferries: since you want to drive the whole thing, I'm routing you onto car ferries for the island hops (Kyllini→Kefalonia, Ithaca shuttles, Igoumenitsa→Corfu). You never leave your car behind, so it still counts as one continuous road trip.

Heads Up

Ferries to pre-book: Kyllini→Poros (Kefalonia Lines), Sami↔Piso Aetos (Ionian Group), Piso Aetos→Astakos (seasonal, check schedule night before), Igoumenitsa→Corfu (frequent, buy at port).

Best season: May–June or September. July–August is doable but Voidokilia and Paleokastritsa get packed; go at opening or after 5pm.
